This large cutaway model of a 4 stroke engine which dates from c1960 was used to demonstrate how the internal combustion engine works and looks super cool on display. The engine section is made of metal, the base is wood and fitted with a name plaque for Fysica Arnhem. When the handle is turned the piston moves up and down and one of the valves moves up and down.
