Vintage Gruen Stainless Steel Black Dial Mens Date Watch 17J 1960s Rare Model

  

This is a vintage wristwatch dating to circa 1970. This is beautiful, clean, and in excellent condition.

The watch runs exceptionally well and keeps time. The time sets as it should. The case is all stainless steel and it is about 36mm wide not including the crown. It is about 43mm long to the tips of the lugs.

The movement is a high quality Gruen caliber N 510 CA and it has 17 jewels. The band is a new, good quality Hadley Roma leather replacement. The total length of the watch is about 9 1/4 inches. This uses a 19mm band which could easily be replaced if you prefer a different style or length. The crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches. The dial is very nice and is depicted accurately in the pictures. Please see my other listings... Please note that all pictures are taken on the macro setting. This makes even the slightest imperfections and specks of dust appear much more prominent though they are often not visible without magnification.
